We are a welcoming community for classical guitar enthusiasts.

Our meetings are held at Sandford Village Hall, on the 2nd Sunday of the month - 7pm to 10pm.

Plenty of free parking is available.

Who can join?

Anyone from about grade two onwards.

What styles of music?

We play a variety of styles, all arranged for classical guitar.

Do I need to sight-read music?

Yes, sight-reading is necessary for ensemble pieces but we can assign parts to suite different abilities.

Are there recitals?

Yes, members can give short recitals to a friendly audience at our monthly meetings.

Can I come along and see what it's like

Yes definitely!! You are very welcome to come along for a trial session to see if you would like to join. Don't forget to bring your guitar and music stand with you!

Location

We meet at Sandford Village Hall.
Sandford is a few kilometres to the South East of Oxford. By car take the Eastern By-Pass, and at the Littlemore Roundabout take the first 1st exit (going south) or the 3rd exit (going north).
At the next roundout take the second exit into Henley Road; the hall is about 1km on your right.
